Hello,

I am excited to see that you’re exploring ways for you to be able to assist your animal’s overall well-being! My name is Caren and I am passionate, to say the least about animal health and welfare.

My goal is to not only help your animals but also to help you learn more so that you can continue to be their best health advocate. Together we can work to get their bodies back on track through hands-on support as well as healing the body from the inside out with nutritional and homeopathic support. My background allows me to practice a holistic approach. Meaning we will not only support them through their “symptoms” but also get to the root of the imbalance in the body that is causing “dis-ease”. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you through your animal health journey.

Hi! Thank you for stopping by to check out my bio.  Let me tell you a little about me….

I am a wife, mother, and lover of all animals.

I developed a love for dogs early on, as growing up we had several dogs in our home. Currently, I am a proud fur mom to my 15-year-old Lhasha Schnoodle Casey (pictured above)

I am honored to have spent time volunteering for some local dog shelters, being a dog foster mum, and participating in wildlife rehabilitation at my local wildlife center.

I am finding great joy in working with you and your dogs. Being able to contribute to their well-being is an amazing experience!

I am looking forward to continuing my education and being able to provide additional support for my clients in the future with services such as Homeopathy, PEMF, Kinesiology Taping, and more.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, baseball, baking, and a little reality TV.

Hi there!

My name is Amy and I have been a lover of dogs since I was a little girl. Currently, I have a 3-year-old Border Collie named Nash, 9 week old Border Collie named Annie, and a 2-year-old cat named Freddy.

I have spent the last 10 years involved in dog sports. Started with my first Border Collie named Toby. We trained and competed in dock jumping and frisbee, but also trained in agility, lure coursing, sheep herding, and any other fun activities we could do! While training and competing with Toby, he ends up with a hind-end injury. We worked through his injury through laser therapy, hydrotherapy, chiropractor, massage, etc. It wasn’t until I got Nash that I learned about bodywork through North of 9. Nash was having some hind-end issues as well and the things I knew that would help just weren’t enough. After Nash’s first appointment with Caren, I was hooked on learning everything I could about bodywork. I not only wanted to help my dogs, but I also wanted to help every dog!

When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and animals, dog training, hiking, sports, and working out and I enjoy snuggling up with my furkids and watching T.V. at the end of the night.

It brings me so much joy to be able to work with you and your dogs. Being able to contribute to them living their best life is so rewarding!

I look forward to continuing my education and being able to provide support to you and your dogs with services such as Kinesiology Taping, PEMF, and more.

Hi, I'm Alyson, one of the Equine Practitioners here at NO9 Bodywork.

Horses have been part of my life for over 20+ years.  From riding lessons and working on horse farms, owning my own horse, and catch riding various horses I’ve crossed paths with. I’ve always loved horses and horseback riding more than any other sport in my athletic past.

Years of competitive hockey as also helped me understand and appreciate fitness and correct biomechanics for efficient and powerful movement. Something that we can easily translate into our equestrian sports and equine/human athletic teams.

On the flip side, I’ve also struggled with weakness, incorrect posture, subsequent nerve pain, and the journey of physical rehabilitation. I’ve learned the functional importance of balance within the body and have experienced first-hand that a high-functioning body in compensation will break down in time.

Over the years and through my education and experience, I’ve learned so much about the challenges our domesticated horses face. Even though horses are masters of compensation, anything that prevents the horse from using their body optimally results in unnecessary wear and tear, discomfort, stress, and even injury and lameness.

I’m passionate about the well-being of horses and truly enjoy helping horses become more comfortable, free, and balanced in their bodies.

And why I  look forward to working with you and your horse(s)!
